The Pro Series Pump Alternator is designed to operate two primary pumps. Every time the float switch is activated, it will automatically alternate the pump that turns on. This will prolong the life of both pumps. If one of the pumps fails to turn on, the Alternator will automatically switch to the other pump. If this occurs three times in a row, a light will start flashing indicating exactly which pump is failing.
