The Comfort-Aire® in-duct Whole Home Air Purifier reduces mold, VOCs, viruses, bacteria, tobacco smoke and common household odors using photocatalytic oxidation (PCO). Two UV-C sources (gas lamp and LED) react with two proprietary substrates to create a large field of oxidizing agents within the duct. As contaminants in the air pass through the field, the oxidizing agents attack and break down the microbials resulting in cleaner, healthier and fresher smelling air. This unit is certified zero ozone.
